dbBase Joins the 4 Business Software (4BS) Group!

Since 1996, dbBase has been selling and distributing accounting software and computer hardware. It also provides IT support to its clients, with a particular focus on service quality.

From its headquarters in Manage (Charleroi region), the company serves more than 800 business clients, primarily small and micro-enterprises and accounting firms based in Hainaut, Walloon Brabant, and the Brussels region.

With no family successor available, the executives, Yves Cornet and Denis Mahieu, entrusted Fondaris with the task of assisting them in finding the best buyer. Several candidates came forward, and ultimately the 4 Business Software (4BS) group emerged as the acquirer.

4BS is a leading provider of IT services for businesses, based in Duffel (Lier, Antwerp). Like dbBase, 4BS offers accounting solutions such as WinBooks and Exact, as well as a wide range of IT services.

Already well-established in Flanders, 4BS is taking a major step forward in its expansion with this acquisition, which will allow it to strengthen its presence in Wallonia and offer its services there on a larger scale.
