GP Automobile Joins the GSL Group!

Founded in 1989 by Guy Petit, GP Automobile has been active for over 35 years in the automotive distribution sector in Wallonia, notably through the Peugeot brand and, more recently, Leapmotor, with locations in Nivelles, Court-Saint-Étienne, Corbais, Le Roeulx, and La Louvière.

Over the years, Guy Petit was joined by Nadège Petit and Jean-François Briet, who helped structure and professionalize the group.

Today, GP Automobile is opening a new chapter in its development with its acquisition by the GSL Group, a leading Belgian family-owned group owned by the Goeyens family. Firmly established in Wallonia and recognized for its expertise in automotive distribution for over 85 years, the GSL Group has developed primarily around the Stellantis Group’s brands.

Thanks to this acquisition, the GSL Group is taking a major step forward in its development, bringing approximately 450 employees on board, while expanding its network to more than 30 locations in Wallonia and now offering 15 brands.
