A New Leap Forward for SKS Trading, Battery Specialists!

Since 2014, Tournai-based SKS Trading has established itself as a key player in the distribution of lead-acid batteries, particularly through the Taiwanese brand LCB Battery, renowned for its reliability and innovative spirit.

Thanks to this exclusive partnership, SKS Trading is now the sole official distributor of LCB Battery for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In 2023, the company also launched its own brand, SCALDIS, further expanding its product offering.

To ensure continued growth in the coming years, Michel Sakkalis entrusted Fondaris with the mission of finding new partners to support him in meeting the many challenges ahead.

Our role was to:

• Identify and select the most suitable candidates.
• Structure the transactions to guarantee the long-term exclusivity and preservation of know-how.
• Protect the interests of both parties in an atmosphere of trust and transparency.

This process led to a meeting with Olivier de Biolley, an experienced entrepreneur, and Briac Puel, a young, up-and-coming sales professional. Together, they embody a complementary continuity—one that is both focused on growth and respectful of the founder’s legacy.

Even before the closing was signed, the parties flew together to Vietnam to visit the supplier’s factory!

Michel Sakkalis retains a stake in the company to facilitate a transition spanning several years.
