Lakhdar Denni’s group, comprising four entities (Sympa Tax, Taxis Sympa, Taxis Thudiniens, and Taxis de Philippeville), is embarking on a new chapter in its history.

A former maintenance technician in Paris who became a taxi driver and then went into business for himself in Belgium, Lakhdar Denni has, over the past 20 years, built one of the leading companies in the sector in Charleroi. This family-owned group, employing more than 80 people, is now a major player in passenger transportation (taxis, transportation for people with reduced mobility, and airport shuttles) in Hainaut.

The acquisition was carried out by ADGC Group, whose new owners—drawing on their entrepreneurial experience—intend to ensure the group’s long-term sustainability. To guarantee a smooth transition, Didier Gobbe, Lakhdar’s longtime right-hand man and accountant who actively contributed to the company’s growth, will continue the journey alongside the new management team.
