Jacquy Cange, a cheese ripener in Beloeil, is handing over his company to two local entrepreneurs! The transaction was facilitated by Fondaris.

An artisan cheese affineur for nearly 40 years, Jacquy Cange offers a selection of nearly 300 cheeses aged with passion, including about 30 of his own recipes. Jacquy Cange and his son Nicolas select the finest sources for their cheeses by traveling throughout Belgium, France, and other countries to find the small farm or skilled producer who can bring a new flavor to their assortment.

To ensure a smooth transition, Fondaris supported Jacquy in handing over his company to two entrepreneurs from Hainaut: Benoit De Belder, of La Jardinerie de Beloeil, and Vincent Duchâteau, who works in food distribution; both are directors and shareholders of Coprosain. With this acquisition, the two partners aim to ensure the business’s long-term viability and expand the distribution of aged cheeses to new retailers.
